Our Story

After working in the financial services industry for over 20 years and seeing firsthand the barriers that it can create for women engaging with the industry from the language used, and lack of transparency to structural issues due to the system being predominantly designed and led by men for men, Kristin created Finiver to empower women through knowledge and connections.

We know that:

Globally, 67% of female investors feel their wealth manager or private banker misunderstand their goals and cannot empathise with their lifestyle¹

52% of women say that dealing with money is stressful and overwhelming²

Less than 1 in 10 (9.4%) CEOs in the financial and insurance service industry are female.³

Finiver recognises that advocating for fundamental change to the industry is important, however it is also crucial to offer solutions that help people in the here-and-now.

Finiver reimagines what it would mean for women to have a true advocate as they engage with the financial services industry following a divorce, death of a spouse or inheritance.

To have the peace of mind to know that you are receiving independent guidance, tailored to your specific needs from ethical people whose goals support women to build their financial capabilities & confidence.
